A fundraising duo will take on a marathon walk next month to generate money for the restoration of a redundant south Norfolk church.
The 13th century church at Forncett St Mary Church, near Long Stratton, is being brought back into community use following its closure in the 1980s.
Two members of the Friends of Forncett St Mary Church will be walking the entire length of the Tas Valley between Cringleford and Attleborough to raise funds for ongoing refurbishment work.
Graham Prior, chairman of the group, and Susie Rohde, who both live in the village, will be walking the 26 mile route on Sunday, June 3. The challenge will form part of Forncett's Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Work has already taken place to replace the majority of the church's windows and a new vestry has been installed. The Friends group also hope that an application to bring the Grade I listed church out of redundancy will be approved soon and the building could host its first wedding ceremony in around 40 years in September.
Mr Prior said they hoped to raise more than 500 for the church.
