Worthy organisations are teaming up this Christmas to raise the profile of good work in the region.
The Charities United group was set up with the aim of bringing together a variety of organisations to share ideas on boosting individual projects.
So far, 14 groups have signed up and they will meet up every three months.

?Age UK Norwich is dedicated to making later life the best it can be for older people. It is supporting lonely older people through befrienders or Christmas dinners at lunch clubs this festive season. Visit www.ageuknorwich.org.uk, email enquiries@ageuknorwich.org.uk or call 01603 496333.
?The Big C, Norfolk and Waveney's cancer charity which offers emotional and practical support to patients, has organised a Santa-themed 14,000ft sky dive on December 9 at Beccles Airfied and carol concerts. Visit www.big-c.co.uk/santajump for details.

?Kelling Heath, between Sheringham and Cromer, will be turned into a winter wonderland on December 2, 9 and 16 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).
The charity provides an emergency helicopter medical service across East Anglia 365 days a year.

?Keeping Abreast offers patient-led support for women faced with breast reconstruction after a breast cancer diagnosis or discovery of a breast cancer gene.
It has organised a carol concert at St Peter Mancroft Church, Norwich, on December 13, from 7.30pm. Doors open at 6.30pm. It will feature the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Choir and music from the Norwich Citadel Salvation Army Band.

?Domestic violence and abuse support charity Leeway is collecting items, including toys, food hampers and arts and crafts items for women and children supported at the charity's refuges. ?NANSA, which supports and empowers people across a range of age groups with varied physical, learning and sensory disabilities, is raising £18,000 for children who struggle to sleep.

?Child bereavement charity Nelson's Journey, which supports people up to the age of 18 who have lost a loved one, has organised a carol concert on December 11. For details visit www.nelsonsjourney.org.uk
?The Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind (NNAB) has organised a pamper evening on November 24, 6-9pm, at the NNAB Bradbury Activity Centre on Edward Street, Norwich, gin tasting experience on December 1 and Christmas gathering on December 14.
