A new 'chapel of rest' has been given an official dedication service in Attleborough.
The facility is at the East of England Co-op Funeral Services branch in the town's High Street, and the service was led by Reverend Jacqui Horton, minister at the Attleborough Methodist Church.
Guests at the January 26 service included representatives from care homes, hospices, charities, neighbours and other members of the funeral profession.
Visitors took the opportunity to talk to the funeral team over tea and cake, and were also able to chat with the bereavement support counsellors and meet the civil celebrant.
Sally Blundell, funeral arranger, said: 'People have been so welcoming since we opened our doors in November and I was delighted to see such a high turnout at the dedication service. The work we do is at the heart of the community and we're proud to help local residents in their time of need.'
