Revamped tennis courts will be officially reopened at North Walsham's Memorial Park on Saturday.
The two courts have undergone a 30,000 facelift following funding from Sport England. They have been given all-weather surfacing, extended, realigned, and given new fencing.
A free taster afternoon is being held from 1.30pm with equipment provided for people to have a go at the sport and check out the freshened up facilities.
Town clerk Margaret Foster said the courts had been on the park for more than 60 years and had not been resurfaced for more than 15. Coaching was available, and it was hoped to attract more youngsters.
Hire of the courts is available for 2 an hour per person (under-15s 50p) through the town council on 01692 404114 or the sports centre.
