Police in Great Yarmouth have released CCTV images of a man and a woman they want to trace in connection with a handbag theft.

It follows an incident in the Market Place on Friday, February 19, at about 2.45pm when a handbag, which the owner had been left behind in a café by mistake, was stolen.

The black leather handbag contained a Radley purse which had cash inside, cards, reading glasses in a purple case and keys.

Officers are keen to identify the man and woman pictured in the CCTV images as they believe they could assist with the enquiry.

Anyone who recognises the man or woman should contact PC Nigel Robinson at Great Yarmouth Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
