A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary following a crackdown by police on rural crimes across the Norfolk and Suffolk border.
The man was searched by police on London Road, Brandon, at 1am on May 15 and found to be carrying power tools.
He was arrested and taken to Bury Police Investigation Centre where he admitted the offence. He received a caution.
Operation Breakout has involved high-visibility and covert patrols from both forces with a focus on burglaries, fuel theft, metal theft, criminal damage and vehicle thefts.
