The first West Norfolk Wins draw takes place in less than two weeks’ time and already 41 good causes have signed up and are set receive 50p for every £1 ticket they sell.
The top five good causes are currently West Norfolk Deaf Association, West Norfolk Swimming Club, Marshland Hall, West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled and the Purfleet Trust.
Elizabeth Nockolds, council deputy leader and cabinet member for culture, said: “There is still time for charities to sign up to the lottery. Even if they aren’t live on the website in time for the first draw, they can still join at any time and then encourage their supporters to help them raise funds for their cause.”
Anyone buying tickets for the first draw will also be entered into a separate prize draw to win a 50” smart TV and a soundbar.
To register as a good cause or to buy tickets go to westnorfolkwins.co.uk.
