A veterinary clinic in Lowestoft is appealing for help after a cat was thrust through one its windows and abandoned.
The female cat, which is white and brown in colour and believed to be four years old, was dumped through the window of a consulting room at the Pakefield Veterinary Clinic in London Road at about 12.30pm on Tuesday.
The cat landed in a startled heap on an examination table.
Vet Madi Constantinescu was in the room at the time and all she saw of the person who opened the window and abandoned the cat was a flash of blue clothing.
When staff went outside to investigate there was no sign of the person.
Staff at the clinic said the cat was underweight but after being fed properly it started to purr happily.
The cat has also been given medical checks.
The RSPCA have been informed about the incident.
The clinic is now appealing for anyone who wants to give the cat a home to contact it on 01502 564656.
