Would you like to join the town council in Beccles and make a positive impact on community life?
A vacancy has arisen on the council for the Common Ward and the opportunity is open to anyone who is a Beccles resident or who lives withing three miles of the town, occupies premises or land in Beccles or who is employed in the town.
The person taking up the position will be in the role until May 2019 when council elections will take place.
Anyone who feels they would be a suitable candidate for the position is asked to inform the town clerk Claire Boyne by writing to Beccles Town Council, Town Hall, The Walk, Beccles, NR34 9AJ, with a brief pen profile of yourself. Letters of application must be received by noon on Monday, November 27.
