One of the Starbucks stores in Norwich is in discussions to stay at its current site.

The global coffee giant's Castle Mall shop is currently in talks with the shopping centre about staying in its current unit.

A spokesperson for Castle Mall said: 'We are currently in discussion with Starbucks for options to remain in Castle Mall and are not aware of any confirmed timescales for a closure or of the relocation of the current Starbucks unit.

'If Starbucks do chose to leave the scheme we will do our best to support the staff with finding new employment.'

The Castle Mall store is one of six in Norwich with other locations including St Stephens Street, Riverside Retail Park and Haymarket.

Castle Mall also confirmed it has 'exciting leisure and restaurant projects lined up for 2018, which will introduce new tenants to the centre, bringing new names to Norwich'.
