Lynn Minster's congregation choir sang Christmas favourites around the beautifully decorated 9ft Christmas tree beside the staircase in the Custom House.
They were joined by around 50 shoppers and members of the public, who filled the tourist information centre next door with festive song.
Afterwards there were mince pies all round. The 17th-century Custom House is also hosting an exhibition of how we celebrated Christmas in years gone by.
