A car has skidded off a road in Northrepps, as the county wakes up to icy conditions.

The incident on Church Road happened at about 7am this morning.

The road was partially blocked near Rectory Road, affecting drivers heading to and from Thorpe Market, but has since been cleared.

No-one is thought to have suffered serious injuries.

Many of the county's drivers have woken up to icy roads this morning, particularly in rural areas.

Temperatures are expected to stay low for the rest of this week, with snow and sleet possible over the weekend.
