A maroon coloured car drove off after a collision with a black Renault Clio near a Suffolk village on Monday.
Police are trying to identify the vehicle which left the scene, believed to be a Rover. The accident happened while the Clio was waiting to turn off the A140 at Brome at the junction with Rectory Road shortly after 5pm.
Damage was caused to the Clio but the maroon coloured car did not stop at the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt Jon Eaves at Eye on 101.
