A man in his 50s was taken to hospital after his car crashed into a telegraph pole near Norwich.
East of England Ambulance Service crews were called to Norwich Road, New Costessey, at 4.18am today.
The collision had caused some of the pole's wires to come loose and there were reports of sparks coming from them.
The man suffered cuts and bruising and was treated on scene by crews before being taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
