A car came off the road at Hainford this morning and crashed into a fence.
The male driver lost control of the car coming into the village on Waterloo Road which has since been closed in both directions.
An ambulance was called at 9.43am and police and the fire service also arrived.
Fire crews from Sprowston and Aylsham helped free the man from the car.
The man was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
