Car crashes into barrier on A11

A car has crashed into a barrier on the A11.
Police were called to the scene near Thickthorn roundabout at around 5.45am.
The barrier was damaged in the crash and the driver was taken to the hospital by a family member.
The car is now in the lay-by and police left the scene at around 6.55am.
Traffic is no longer being affected by the incident.
