Trains between Norwich and London have been delayed this evening (Monday) after a car crashed off the A12 and ended up on the track.
The car is obstructing the London bound line at Chitts Hill level crossing between Colchester and Marks Tey.
Train services between London Liverpool Street and Norwich are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled or delayed at short notice. Disruption is expected until 11pm.
Greater Anglia has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
