Men are being encouraged to come forward and take part in one of the Eastern Daily Press's most-loved seasonal traditions.

St Andrew's Hall will this year play host to the EDP Festival of Carols and now is your chance to get your hands on tickets for the event, which will be held on Wednesday, December 7.

Carole Tims, who is the musical director of the event for the 30th year, said: 'I'm still after some men, I'd say to them come and give it a try, I don't bite.

'I think most of the choir really enjoy themselves, they keep coming year after year.'

She said although you didn't need to be a professional, reading sheet music would be an advantage.

'I need a couple more basses and tenors,' she added.

The choir will once again be joined by Broadland Youth Choir and Cawston Band for the concert. And the 2016 musical programme will include favourites such as Away In A Manger, Joy To The World, John Rutter's New Year Carol and Twelve Days Of Christmas and Pearsall's In Dulci Jubilo.
