CAISTER lifeboat escorted a fishing vessel which had suffered electrical failure to Great Yarmouth harbour.
The fishing vessel - which is registered in Scarborough - encountered difficulties seven miles north east of Caister lifeboat house and called the coastguard at 8am today (Sunday, April 29).
It is understood the vessel had been heading north from the River Thames.
A spokesman for the coastguard said there was no risk to life, and the lifeboat was able to guide the vessel in without need for a tow.
