A CAISTER cat required the help of firemen after becoming trapped on a roof this morning.
The RSPCA called the fire service after being alerted to the cat in distress in Fairisle Drive at 10.13am.
A fireman was sent to make an initial assessment, and he requested a fire engine from Great Yarmouth to attend.
A triple extension ladder was required to rescue the stranded feline.
