It's been a busy weekend for the Hunstanton Coastguard Rescue Team.

On Saturday, along with the Wells and Cley Coastguard Search and Rescue Team, they attended to a male with a head injury at a car park in Cley next the Sea.

The incident happened at 5.51pm and they met with paramedics and escorted them to the man before both teams were sent to another incident in Thornham.

The call at 6.55pm, was to a woman who had fallen on the coastal path.

The teams accessed the woman for injuries and stretched her to the paramedics waiting at a nearby car park.

Injuries suffered by the man and woman are not yet known.

At 8am this morning (Sunday) Hunstanton Coastguard were called to a dog swimming out at sea and the owner who had gone in after it.

A boat from Hunstanton RNLI was also launched.

A spokesman for Hunstanton Coastguard said: 'Safety advice was given to the owners, please don't put yourself at risk by going after your dog, if you find yourself in this situation dial 999 and ask for coastguard.'
