It may be one of the more unusual donations to a good cause, but these furniture pieces will go a long way to help the beneficiaries of the mental health charity.
As Steve Sokalsky wants to focus more on his self storage facility in Lenwade, near Norwich, and has decided to clear out unwanted stock from his online ironmongery.
So the businessman has donated thousands of doorknobs and handles estimated to be worth around £20,000 to the West Norfolk Mind furniture outlet, in King's Lynn.
The massive donation ranges from small pieces for children's furniture to larger handles for heavy doors.
While many of the pieces will be for sale, some will be used in carpentry workshops for those who want to learn new skills to help with their wellbeing.
Mr Sokalsky, who runs Self Storage Hire in Porters Lane, said: 'I really wanted the stock to go to good use.
'I saw that as well as the furniture shop, West Norfolk Mind also offered courses and help get people actively involved with projects.'
He added: 'A close friend has also needed their support before, and they really did help him out.'
Zena Penty, the branch's volunteer co-ordinator, said the charity was extremely grateful for the generous donation.
She said: 'At a time when mental health services are significantly underfunded, this donation will go a long way.
'It is protecting the services we already offer as well as contributing to their further development.'
The West Norfolk Mind furniture store is located at Saunders Yard, Austin Street, King's Lynn PE30 1QH. It is open Monday-Friday.
