Great food is all part of the Woodland Holiday Park experience – and chief executive Andrew Hird is keen to get the message across. With the appointment of new head chef, Chris Moore, Andrew is keen to gain an AA rosette for the park's cuisine.
Only about 10pc of UK restaurants reach the standard, which recognizes cooking at different levels and can be decided by a single visit. Restaurants must serve food prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good quality ingredients. The standard of cooking must stand out in their local area.
'It would be a great achievement, but we can do it,' says Andrew.
