East Anglian firms are being encouraged to submit entries for awards celebrating the start-up community.
Run by Startups.co.uk, the Startups Awards are designed to recognise innovative and ambitious early-stage businesses.
Previous regional winners include the Driver Hire franchise in Colchester and 'big data' firm Cambridge Intelligence, while national businesses like Bulb, The Cambridge Satchel Company and Notonthehighstreet.com have also been commended.
Categories in the 2018 awards include inspiring entrepreneur, women in business, consumer business and crowdfunded business, plus two new awards – Best Place to Work and Side Hustle of the Year.
The awards, sponsored by Start Up Loans, are open to privately owned UK companies launched between August 2014 and July 31 2017. Applications will be judged by a panel including Zoopla Property Group founder Alex Chesterman and Mumsnet co-founder Justine Roberts.
