Revenue and profits have risen at a filtration company with its head office in King's Lynn.
Porvair booked revenue of £59.7m in the six months to the end of May, a 7% rise on the same period a year before, while pre-tax profit rose 8% from £4.9m to £5.2m.
The company, which manufactures specialists filters for use in aviation, the energy industry, and other industrial processes, made two acquisitions during the period - Rohasys BV and Keystone Filter - and said both were performing as expected.
Ben Stocks, chief executive of Porvair, which is based in Regis Place, said: 'The business is achieving further organic growth through incremental new product introductions and continues to expand manufacturing capacity to meet demand.'
The new acquisitions would bring a wider product range and add intellectual property to the company, said Mr Stocks, adding there 'considerable opportunity' for growth.
