Norwich-based offshore technology company EV has been recognised for its significant sales growth in a national survey of fast-growing businesses.

The company, which designs and manufactures downhole video technology for the oil industry, has been ranked 18 out of 100 rapidly expanding technology firms in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 after growing sales by 109pc to £20m in 2014.

Steve Langan, managing director of Hiscox UK and Europe, said: 'It takes a number of qualities to be recognised as a Tech Track 100 business. Having well defined company values, a focus on nurturing talent and achieving customer satisfaction, and an eye on future-proofing your business are all important attributes.'
