A business organisation has enjoyed a successful Royal Norfolk Show after hosting its own marquee for the first time in more than a decade.

The Norfolk Chamber of Commerce held business breakfasts and a networking lunch, as well as manning an afternoon gin bar at the two-day event.

Chief executive Chris Sargisson said its presence at the show embodied his aim for the Chamber to 'give a voice to every Norfolk business' and provide opportunities for them to connect.

'We have had a really busy time. People who we know, and some who we do not, have come to say hello,' he said.

Public affairs manager Nova Fairbank said: 'It is about engaging with the local business community to show them that we are here and we are listening. It is great to be back to show people what Norfolk business is all about. The number of people who have commented that it was good to see the Chamber back is fantastic.'
