Great Yarmouth firm 3Sun has secured a new servicing and maintenance deal after being appointed as an agent of Outreach Ltd.

Outreach is a leading supplier of hydraulic handling, lifting and access equipment to the offshore and renewables industry with experience in repairs, servicing and training.

The one year contract will see 3sun carry out servicing and maintenance on hydraulic cranes and loading equipment manufactured by Palfinger, a partner of Outreach.

Graham Hacon, managing director of 3sun Group said: 'Securing the contract with Outreach is great news and recognises our experience, expertise and reputation for delivering a high level of service in the inspection and maintenance of equipment used on offshore wind turbines.

'As an agent of Outreach we will be the approved partner of Outreach in relation to providing Operator Training on Palfinger cranes in England & Wales for wind turbines.

'3sun Group has already created more than 100 new jobs this year to meet the growing demand for our products and services worldwide, and the contract with Outreach could potentially lead to the recruitment of more 3sun Group technicians in the coming months.

'It has been a busy year for the Group and we are continuing to expand rapidly, following the success of the launch of the Denmark office, we are concentrating on plans to open a base in Germany to ensure our clients in the region receive on the ground support and service.

Specialist products created for the offshore industry include vehicle body conversions as well as pipe handlers and access systems.
