A personal trainer is hoping his new business will be fighting fit after making the decision to relaunch it to concentrate on one-on-one coaching.

Father-of-two Jamie-Lee Weller has closed the gym he has been running for the past four years in Long Stratton, and set up a personal training and sports studio in Banham.

The 33-year-old said he wanted to focus on helping his clients individually, where he felt he could have a greater impact than in group classes.

JW Core Nutrifit's new premises at The Appleyard on Keninghall Road are among other businesses including a butchers and hairdressers, and Mr Weller plans to work with them to attract clients.

'It's a good position and there's lots of passing trade, so we are a little bit more in the community,' he said.

'When I was dealing with big groups before, I wasn't achieving the potential that I could when I work one-on-one with people.'

Mr Weller moved to Norfolk from Surrey with his wife Robyn and children Marcy, seven, and Percy, four, in 2014 after the family decided they wanted 'more of a country life'.
