An HR recruitment and consultancy firm is extending a series of workshops about the apprenticeship levy due to popular demand.

Waddington Brown has added an extra date – on May 3 at Dunston Hall in Norwich – to the series, designed to help HR professionals in East Anglia understand what impact the new tax will have on them.

The free workshops are led by Sam Rope, group HR director for Seetec, and will look at what the levy is, what it means for employers, its standards and frameworks, and what adjustments need to be made.

Emma Gunton, managing director of Waddington Brown, said: 'From April 6 this year, apprenticeships have changed, however many businesses are still not aware of what the changes are and how they affect them.'
