Norfolk businessman Philip Easter has been appointed as non-executive director of the Aegon UK Insurance Companies Board.
Mr Easter spent a large part of his career at Norwich Union and subsequently Aviva where he was managing director of finance. He was also Norwich Union finance director and chief financial officer and executive vice president of Aviva USA.
He led changes across the Aviva Group, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and integration programmes. Mr Easter is also non executive chair of Validus IVC and Platinum Partners.
