Bar code solutions, audio visual and consumer electrics distributor Midwich has celebrated a fifth successful year for its Technology Exposed event, a leading UK showcase for the latest innovations.
This year's event, held at Ascot Racecourse, again attracted several hundred visitors with more than 70 exhibitors present.
It saw the first UK appearance of LG's 98-inch edge lit 4K LED display and Samsung's new 85-inch 4K LED display, and there were also exclusive launches from Canon, Hitachi, Sony, Optima, Draper and ATEN, together with a range of talks and demonstrations.
Stephen Fenby, managing director at Diss-based Midwich, which is a member of the EADT/EDT Top 100 listing of the 100 largest companies in Suffolk and Norfolk, said: 'Walking the show floor you couldn't help but be inspired by the new technologies and solutions on display.
'The vertical markets stand was a new feature for this year where our specialists laid bare the cross-over potential of technologies in different environments from control rooms, fire operation centres, airports and train stations to retail stores, museums and art venues.'
