An East Anglian network promoting equality in the technology industry will hold its awards ceremony later this month.

SyncDevelopHER stages the annual DevelopHER Awards to inspire women and girls of all ages to consider a career in tech.

Since being spun out of the Norwich-based network in 2015, the competition has grown to 14 categories with 190 nominations this year.

SyncDevelopHER founder Vickie Allen said: 'Our ambition is to promote strong role models to inspire the next generation of women to consider a career in technology. Our aim is to strengthen career opportunities for women alongside the development of successful technology companies in areas of our region highlighted for their digital tech strength by TechNation.'

The awards ceremony is being held at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge on November 29 from 5pm to 11pm.
