The school was run by a religious group known as the Daughters of Divine Charity with around 160 pupils across a nursery, lower and senior schools. It has been educating children since 1914.

A new Voluntary Aided state school successfully opened on the site in September 2019 with around 80 pupils and expects to welcome even more students this September.

Agents Brown & Co said the part of the property for sale could be suitable for conversion to residential or commercial use.

It is for sale for a price on application.
