Energy-giant Centrica has put the finishing touches to 75 wind turbines off the Skegness coast.
The 270MW Lincs Project was completed yesterday, with the aim of providing enough renewable energy to support 200,000 homes, the company said.
The three-year project to build the offshore wind farm was officially opened by deputy prime minister Nick Clegg in August.
Patrick Harnett, Lincs Project director, said: 'There have been times over the winter when it felt like we were working on mission impossible but it's been a great summer and the team have made a sterling effort to get us to where we are today.'
