A bank has raised more than £2,000 for a local charity through a quiz night.
Barclays business customers and professional contacts raised more than £1,000 for Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind over the evening which was organised by the bank's business team in Great Yarmouth – with the lender match funding an additional £1,000.
Business managers Miles Fagan and Matthew Crickmore organised the event at the town's Prom Hotel to raise money for the charity, which supports visually-impaired people in the county to live independent and fulfilled lives.
NNAB head of fundraising Jeremy Goss said: 'We are extremely grateful to the Barclays coastal business team for their hard work in making such a success of their quiz night, and also to Barclays itself, which has once again been incredibly generous in matching the funds raised by its staff.'
