Hopkins Homes is expanding the area covered by its charitable fund – making at least £500,000 available for charities in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire over the next five years.
The regional housebuilder is doubling the size of its fund and widening its geographical coverage to mark the sale of its 5,000th home.
James Hopkins, Hopkins Homes executive chairman, said: 'As a company, we are proud of our strong track record of supporting local communities and charities. But as we grow as a company, we want to grow our charitable giving too.
'The expansion of the Hopkins Charitable Fund is an extension of our desire to contribute to the community, not just through the quality of what we build but by supporting charities and good causes to help vulnerable members of our society.'
The charitable fund supports organisations and activities that help bring communities together and support vulnerable people.
