Bus station and hospital updates at Cromer

Updates on the bid to revive the axed bus station at Cromer and the progress of the local �15m hospital rebuild will be given at the town meeting this spring.

During the day up to 30 stalls from local organisations and charities from the Crab and Lobster festival and police to the flower club and church, will showcase what they do during an exhibition in the parish hall from 10am to 5pm on April 7.

The 7pm evening meeting includes Norfolk County Council passenger transport officer Peter Cudby talking about the bus station, and Cromer hospital service manager Helen Lloyd talking about the ongoing works there.

Community grants totalling �2,855 will be handed out by the council, which will also donate �325 to the East Anglian Air Ambulance raised at the annual civic dinner.

Profits from the New Year's Day fireworks will also be distributed, and the annual town honours recognising the unsung work of people in the community will be presented.
