Burglars broke into Holt Community Centre but left empty handed.
Police say they got into the Kerridge Way building and forced open a number of doors to locked rooms but it is not thought that they took anything.
The incident happened between 6pm on Wednesday December 7 and 7.30am on Thursday December 8.
