Police are investigating after a burglary at the Co-operative store in Gosford Road, Beccles at about 3.15am this morning.
An alarm was activated at the store and officers immediately attended. On arrival they found the main front doors to the premises had been forced open.
A cigarette kiosk had also been forced open and a quantity of tobaccos products (believed to include cigarettes, cigars and packets of tobacco) taken.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area in the early hours or anyone with information about those responsible should call police using the new 101 telephone number.
