Burglars stole antiques, wine and telescope from Scratby home

A telescope and an antique barometer were among items stolen during a break-in in Scratby, near Great Yarmouth.

Two properties in California Close were targeted; the first between October 11 and 14 when thieves stole a telescope, binoculars, jewellery, and antiques as well as a chainsaw and hedge trimmer.

The second property was targeted between October 12 and 14 and saw thieves break in through a ground floor window. It is not yet known what was taken.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the area. Witnesses are asked to contact Det Con Riki Chase at Norfolk Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
