Burglars steal cash and significant amount of jewellery from home near Lowestoft

Witnesses are being sought after burglars broke into a home near Lowestoft and stole jewellery and cash.

Detectives are appealing for information following the break-in at the home in Hall Lane, Blundeston, which happened sometime between 9.15am on Friday, December 2 and 6.45pm on Sunday, December 4, with entry being gained via the back of the property and a search being made.

A police spokesman said: 'Two safes and a significant amount of jewellery and cash were taken.'

Police are asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between these times, or anyone with information about those responsible, to call Lowestoft CID on 101 quoting reference 69841/16.
