SHAKESPEARE'S Comedy of Errors is being staged at the Fisher Theatre at Bungay this week by the Rough Cast Theatre Company.
The fun and mistaken identities that are a favourite ploy of the great bard includes two sets of identical twins – twin servants and twin masters - and the company captures the sheer exuberance of the play in a frenetic and fast-moving production set in the Mediterranean. It is at 7.30pm on Friday, June 17 and tickets are 8 (5 concessions).
Next Thursday sees the opening of the Fisher Youth Theatre Group's production of The Jungle Book, the exciting Disney classic. Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie and the gang bring the zest and the great songs to the Fisher in the musical specially adapted from the much-loved film. It is on for three nights from Thursday at 7.30pm, with a 2pm matinee on the Saturday. Tickets are 7 (5 concessions).
Tickets for all events at the Fisher can be booked via the box office on 01986 897130, or via the website www.fishertheastre.org
