A building was evacuated in Fakenham this morning as environmental protection units dealt with a 'chemical incident' at Fakenham Laundry.
Fire crews were called shortly before 9am to the building on Holt Road as the property had a 'container of chemicals that is pressurised'.
Two fire crews from Fakenham were in attendance along with environmental protection units from King's Lynn and Sprowston.
A spokesman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue said the container was 'not venting off as it should do'.
'We checked the container and made it safe, and handed the incident over to the occupier,' they said.
