Motorsport fans will be revving up their engines this weekend as the British Superbike Championship comes to Snetterton.

Josh Brookes, Michael Laverty and championship leader Leon Haslam will take to the three mile circuit in the fourth round of the season.

Fans will be heading to the circuit on Saturday, June 16 to watch the grid qualify before two races on Sunday, June 17.

British Superbike legend and six-time champion Shane 'Shakey' Byrne crashed at Snetterton during testing in May earlier this year. He will not be making a return to the track as he recovers from broken ribs, a broken neck and back fractures.

As well as the premier class race younger riders will be heading to the track to take place in Superstock 600cc races with Thetford's 19-year-old Ryan Vickers returning to his home race with an 18-point lead in this season's championship standings.
