A popular music festival is preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a performance by a band made famous by the television show Britain's Got Talent.

Leadfing swing and jive band the Jive Aces, who reached the semi-finals of the ITV contest in 2012, will be back after their successful performance at the 2016 Hoxne Music Festival, between Eye and Diss.

The band, who have played around the world, will perform at St Edmund's Village Hall on the evening of Saturday, May 27.

'For anyone who hasn't seen the Jive Aces, I recommend a viewing of some of their performances on YouTube or www.jiveaces.com,' said Wilf White, member of the Hoxne Music Festival committee. 'They are brilliant.'

Supporting the Jive Aces will be The Three Chordettes, a female vocal harmony group specialising in vintage swing and jazz hits from the 1940s and 1950s.

Doors open at 7.30 and the show begins at 8pm.
