Prospective agents and candidates for the Suffolk County Council elections on May 4 are being invited to attend briefing sessions in Lowestoft.
The first briefing session next Thursday, March 9, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, aims to introduce candidates to key staff, provide detail on local arrangements and the election timetable as well as provide information on the required qualifications, disqualifications, nominations, agents and key contacts.
The second session is on Wednesday, April 19 from 11am to 1pm, with both sessions held at Waveney District Council's Riverside headquarters. Stephen Baker, deputy returning officer for Waveney for the county council elections, said: 'It is important that all candidates and agents wishing to take part in these elections attend the briefing sessions.'
