Bittern Line trains between Norwich and Sheringham are running up to 20 minutes late, or being cancelled, this morning following reports of a bridge bash.
Abellio Greater Anglia say a vehicle has struck a railway bridge between North Walsham and Cromer. The incident happened at about 9.50am.
Network Rail engineers are on their way to the scene and a rail replacement bus is heading for North Walsham to pick up passengers who should have been on the 9.45am Norwich to Sheringham service.
Disruption was expected to continue until about 11.15am.
An Abellio spokesman said passengers affected might be entitled to claim delay repay via: www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk/contact-us/contact-forms/delay-repay
