Motorists in Great Yarmouth face disruption as the A12 Breydon Bridge closes in both directions for five nights for maintenance work.
The bridge will be closed between the Vauxhall Roundabout and the Gapton Hall roundabout from tomorrow between 8pm and 6am to enable resurfacing and replacement of bridge joints.
There will be fully signed diversions in place with northbound traffic diverted via Haven Bridge, North Quay and Acle New Road to rejoin the A12 at Vauxhall Roundabout. Southbound traffic will follow the same diversion in reverse.
A Highways Agency spokesman said: 'We plan to carry out the works at a time that causes the least possible disruption and that is why we have scheduled these works to take place overnight.'
