A body has been found in Dereham, police confirmed this morning (Sunday).
Police have cordoned off a wooded footpath in Tavern Lane, near Toftwood, at the bottom of the slip road which leads to the Norwich-bound A47.
Officers are standing guard and there are currently three police cars and a crime scene investigation van at the scene.
No further details, including the age and gender of the body, are available at present.
A Norfolk Police spokesman said they were in the early hours of the investigation and further information would be released later today.
